Attention 1911 grip makers! Here is a bit that I designed for drilling super clean grip screw holes in your 1911 grips. This bit will also work for the backside for the bushing shoulders also. It is designed to follow after your 15/64" bore in the grips. The tip is a pilot and not made to do the original 15/64" bore into the wood.  As seen in the pictures, this bit does nice clean holes in the hardest of Woods and Ivory also. This bit fits into any drill press. Due to the minimal amount of material removed during the bore process, these bits will last a very long time. There are no returns on this bit. Contact me anytime with questions.
